Events: Mandy Baby Shower

This passed Sunday I made my way to Ankeny to shoot a baby shower for Mandy, who's expecting Ava at any moment now. Baby showers are a completely unique experience and this is my second one through the talented co-hostess, Natalie.

You know how some things in life have so much meaning that it just sometimes overwhelm you with emotion? When Mandy opened the gift below those emotions showed how precious childhood is. These are going to be some exciting times for Mandy and Rob.

I unofficially met Seth back in June when shooting Amber and Scott's wedding. Seth is Amber's nephew and he was the ring bearer in their wedding. It was refreshing to meet him again. He was fun to follow around and talk to. He was not shy either as he greeted the fishers and joggers at Greenwood Park. Here are a few photos from the session.

This is Kaedyn's first professional photo session and the results were fun to thumb through. He is about 2 weeks old and so he still has some of his baby skin. It's a good sense of the little details in life that you normally don't think about.

Luke has changed so much since his new born photos. He has grown into such a handsome young baby. You almost want to poke his belly because he is so much fun to laugh with. I can't wait for our six month session.
