Des Moines Portraits Photographer: Kaylinn Ankeny High Senior Class of 2013

Kaylinn is a senior at Ankeny High School. In the fall she will be attending Iowa State University to major in  engineering. I think today we picked the worst day out of the week just to see if pictures on a gloomy could be possible. Me, I wore my winter jacket, a pair of gloves, a scarf and a hat. Kaylinn braved the cold and rain and what didn't make it any better was the wind. However, she remained resilient and was positively down to earth through out the session.

Des Moines Portraits Photographer: Briana East High Senior Class of 2013

Briana is an East High senior who's eager to get her life started after graduating in 2013. She plans on attending the Ankeny DMACC campus before heading off into a bigger and brighter path. She is shy and funny but through out our session, she remained genuinely humble and open minded. Did I also mention that Briana is also my cousin? It seemed like it was just yesterday that her and her sisters were having a slumber party at our house burning the marshmallows for our s'mores and staying up late watching scary movies. Wow! Time sneaks up when you're having fun.

Des Moines Portraits Photographer: Devin Ankeny High Senior Class of 2013

Devin is a 2013 Ankeny High senior who plans to attend Iowa State University next fall and hopefully head into the engineering industry. He was quite the company and we held great conversations about who he was and of his plans. One of the many things I learned from Devin is you don't come between a man and his Jordan's. Well, the icon is just not one to be reckoned with. We also talked about his younger brother Ian, who I had the pleasure of meeting earlier this year for his 3 year old session. Devin has a calm demeanor and I have every confidence that he's going to have a bright future.

Des Moines Portraits Photographer: Eddie Oskaloosa Senior Class of 2012

Eddie is a 2012 Oskaloosa High senior who I had the pleasure of shooting his senior portraits while his sister Lilly kept us company. A super cool guy, Eddie has ambitious goals in the hopes to attend Iowa State University next fall. You wouldn't be able to tell that he's a pretty mellow kid by going through his awesome film. It was a brisk sunday afternoon and to make matters worse, Lilly's car kind of smoked up on us. No worries though. Sister and car is doing fine. Just a story to tell and joke about in the future.

Des Moines Portraits Photographer: Lisa East High Senior Class of 2012

Lisa is a Senior Class  of 2012 at East High who plans to attend Iowa State University after graduation. She is a smart and ambitious young lady and I had a lot of fun filming her senior photo session on what seemed to be the hottest day of the year so far. It was a scorching 92 degrees or what felt like a 100. Nonetheless, we made it through and right after she attended dance class.
