Food: A Different Kind of Pasta Sauce

A few weeks ago, Tosha and her mom brought home this jar of butternut squash pasta sauce. Interesting. We had a couple of butternut squashes parked on our kitchen counter from our garden since the end of last summer and decided to cut them into cube chunks. Tosha had sprinkled them w/a little salt, pepper and doused them gently w/olive oil. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to grab a photo but next time... next time I will know better!
Well anyway, she had placed the cubes on a pan and into the oven to get that "roast" texture. Afterwards, the cubes were mixed w/the butternut squash sauce, which was already cookin' in a pan of cut up chicken and baby spinach. Once finished, we used Buitoni's Mixed Cheese Tortellini for the pasta.
Holy yumness!!!!
It's a mix of savory sweetness. The sweet comes from the pasta sauce and the savory from the cheese filled torellini.
