Events: Relay for Life Benefit

Relay for Life is a great driving force for the American Cancer Society. It is a 12-hour walk to raise cancer awareness and this year it will be held at Hoover High School starting at 6PM on July 16. They are a well known community of cancer survivors or those who are affected by it. So it was my pleasure to donate a few hours of my time to document their annual benefit held at Ciao's in West Glenn last Tuesday. This is my second year doing so and it was so much fun to see everyone dressed up in 80's theme. I was in retro heaven seeing the A-Team, President Reagan, Pee Wee Herman, Madonna and Bret Michaels just to name a few characters.
