May 1

I had a wedding to shoot on May 1st. It was also my last as HAUTE FOTO. Savan and I shot Mary and David's wedding in Allman at the Salem United Church of Christ. It was a nice ceremony. I had also dropped my camera on the church floor in which the glass in my Hoya filter broke and the filter wedged itself into my 50mm. Luckily we had a back up 50mm because I could not get that filter off my lens. Later that evening, I took a hammer to the glass and twisted the filter off the lens with a pair of pliers. Oddly enough, I also dropped my brand new D90 when I got home. No damage done. Here are some photos of the filter carnage!

More to come on this day.
